LSU basketball’s loaded 2018 recruiting class added another top talent to the haul Friday.
Five star Florida forward Emmitt Williams picked LSU over Oregon and Florida, joining Naz Reid to give Will Wade two five stars in 2018 alongside four stars Javonte Smart and Darius Days.

Williams hails from the same AAU program and high school as former Tiger Antonio Blakeney. His addition puts LSU at No. 3 in the 247 Composite team rankings for 2018.
His recruitment came into question earlier in the fall when he was accused of sexual assault, but no charges were filed.
The 6-foot-7, 225 pound Williams is a high-flying, high-energy combo forward with relentless effort in the paint and on the glass. He’s rated as the No. 24 overall prospect in the country by 247.
