This week’s practice reports will mostly consist of taking attendance along LSU’s banged-up offensive line.
Left tackle Saahdiq Charles and left guard Garrett Brumfield were both absent from the media viewing portion of practice on Monday, as expected. Charles is questionable to play against Ole Miss while Brumfield has already been ruled out with a knee injury.
LSU did get some reinforcements up front as tackle Adrian Magee returned to practice for the first time since injuring his left leg against Miami in the season opener. Magee was sporting a large brace on his left knee. He’s also questionable for Saturday, according to LSU coach Ed Orgeron.
Here’s what the first-team offensive line looked like when LSU lined up as a group during individual drills:
LT | Badara Traore
LG | Chasen Hines
C | Lloyd Cushenberry
RG | Damien Lewis
RT | Austin Deculus
The other bit of news along the offensive line was the player who wasn’t there. Donavaughn Campbell, who Orgeron named as the next man up at guard, was on the other side of the field working with the defensive line.
