LSU returned to action for the first time after its inaugural fall camp scrimmage on Monday, and the media-available portion of practice featured some notable returns
Quarterback Joe Burrow was back with the team after missing practice Friday and Saturday’s scrimmage with an undisclosed injury. Also back was cornerback Kristian Fulton, who missed more than a week with an injury related to his foot, which he had surgery on early this year.
The Tigers have yet to see junior safety Grant Delpit or sophomore linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson return from what have been described by head coach Ed Orgeron as minor injuries, but the return of Burrow and Fulton should lift the spirits of LSU fans who may have felt worried about the number of key starters missing in practice.
Wide receiver Trey Palmer also made his first appearance at fall camp after a summer in which Orgeron and other coaches spoke highly of him.
Outside of the returns, the media portion of practice was fairly uneventful, with the Tigers practicing without pads and working on individual drills as per usual.
