At long last, Grant Delpit has returned.
For the first time since the very early days of camp, the junior All-American safety was back in action Wednesday during LSU’s practice at the indoor football facility.
And he wasn’t the only one.
Kristian Fulton was back for the second time this week and for the first time in pads after missing Tuesday’s practice. He missed much of the first week and a half of camp with an injury related to the foot he had surgery on early this year.
Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and offensive tackle Saahdiq Charles also returned after missing practice Tuesday.
Linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson still has yet to make an appearance in practice since his meeting with the media in the early days of camp.
Offensive linemen Chasen Hines and Damien Lewis also were not seen in during the media-available section of practice.
