LSU’s men’s golf team is in sixth place among 14 squads after the first two rounds of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational hosted at the Isleworth Golf & Country in Windermere, Florida.
The Tigers are at 6-over par 582, carding identical 3-over 291 rounds on Sunday and Monday. LSU is 13 shots behind co-leaders Auburn and Arizona State which are tied at 7-under.
Senior Garrett Barber is in a tie for sixth place among the individual leaders at 4-under 140 after scoring an even par 72 in the second round. His first round of 4-under 68 is LSU’s only sub-70 score of the tourney.
Freshman Cohen Trolio is tied for 16th at even 144, sophomore Nichiolas Arcement is tied for 42nd at 6-over 150, senior Michael Sanders is tied for 48th at 7-over 151 and senior Trey Winstead is tied for 52nd at 8-over 152.
The tourney, LSU’s final action on its fall schedule, concludes Tuesday.
