The exodus from LSU continues as offensive lineman Ed Ingram has declared for the NFL Draft.
Ingram announced his intensions Friday in a social media post. He accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl in November.
“Thank you Tiger Nation for welcoming me with open arms,” Ingram posted on Twitter. “Though I am leaving right now I am not saying goodbye forever!! I will continue to represent the purple and gold at the highest level. It’s been an exciting journey full of highs and lows, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I love this University and gave it my all every time I was on the field!”
A four year starter, Ingram was part of LSU’s 2019 national team. The DeSoto, Texas-native signed with the Tigers in 2017.
Ingram is the seventh LSU player to declare for the draft, joining cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., linebacker Damone Clark, cornerback Cordale Flott, safety Cameron Lewis, running back Tyrion Davis-Price and defensive tackle Neil Farrell.
Offensive lineman Chasen Hines is committed to play in the NFLPA Bowl, but has the option to withdraw.
