Derrius Guice vs. D’Nerius Antoine

With Leonard Fournette still unlikely to feature for LSU, the Tigers will, again, turn to Derrius Guice as their offensive bellcow. Guide has been stellar in Fournette’s absence, averaging 8.7 yards per carry and moving into the lead as LSU’s top rusher on the season at 402 yards. The Tigers will hand it to him early and often, relying on his shiftiness and brute force to pick up big yards on the ground. Antoine is a hybrid linebacker/safety and a playmaker from New Iberia who will want to impress on his return to Louisiana. He racked up 103 tackles, 7.5 for loss, 5 pass break ups, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions last year. He’s a disruptive force who will look to get downhill quickly to limit Guide’s effectiveness.
