Ed Orgeron says Leonard Fournette will be the first Tiger off the bus Saturday night.

The coach said the tailback will get the start for LSU against Ole Miss, too.

“Leonard is healthy,” Orgeron said at his post-practice presser Thursday evening. “He’s had a good week of practice. We expect to use him as much as we can.”

Fournette returned to practice Monday after missing LSU’s past two games due to an ankle injury re-aggravated during a loss to Auburn. Orgeron said the Tigers are also expected the return of left guard Will Clapp, who missed the South Alabama game due to an arm injury.

The entire offensive line is expected to be available against the Rebels with the exception of Toby Weathersby (ankle), who practiced in a limited capacity this week. Orgeron also ruled out outside linebacker Corey Thompson.

Tight end Foster Moreau “should be ready” to play, Orgeron said. He returned to practice this week after sitting out the Southern Miss game.

Here’s some other non-injury news from Orgeron:

– True freshman Ed Alexander has surpassed Travonte Valentine as LSU’s second-team nose tackle and will be available Saturday night despite a fractured bone in his hand. Valentine was withheld from play last week, which Orgeron said was a result of not seeing enough from the hulking tackle in practice.

– Tre’Davious White remains LSU’s punt returner, Orgeron said, though he acknowledged Donte Jackson will continue to split practice reps with him there. Earlier in the week Orgeron confirmed Jackson will remain LSU’s primary kick returner.
