The 6-foot-5 sophomore is the fifth wide receiver to leave the program since the end of the 2015 season, joining Tyron Johnson, Trey Quinn, John Diarse, and Kevin Spears as ex-LSU pass catchers.
Ferguson, a product of West Feliciana High School, recorded just two catches for 17 yards in his two seasons on campus. Both came this season against Missouri, but he played little the rest of the season after a mid-season suspension for undisclosed reasons.
