Another scorching-hot day, another round of practice attendance taken from what’s been an injury-full Fall Camp for LSU.
Safety Grant Delpit and outside linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson continued to be absent with what LSU coach Ed Orgeron has described as “minor camp injuries.”
Cornerback Kristian Fulton and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire were also missing from the media viewing portion of practice. Both participated on Monday when LSU practiced without pads.
As for the offensive line, Saahdiq Charles, Damien Lewis and Chasen Hines were all missing. Tackle Badara Traore returned to practice after being absent on Monday.
Charles had a splint on one of his fingers when he spoke to reporters earlier in the day. For what it’s worth, he said he expected Lewis back some time this week.
The updates are a bit more positive at the receiver position. Trey Palmer practiced for the second consecutive day after dealing with a knee injury at the start of camp. Fellow freshman Devonta Lee was a full participant.
