At least one of LSU’s missing guards is back at practice.
Sophomore Chasen Hines was a full participant in practice on Tuesday after returning for a pad-less practice on Monday. He’s been in and out of practice all camp while working his back from offseason knee surgery.
Starting right guard Damien Lewis remains out with an ankle injury. Freshman guard Kardell Thomas is slated for surgery that could keep him out for the season, Ed Orgeron said on Saturday.
Staying on the attendance front, cornerback Kristian Fulton returned to practice as a full participant. He was absent from the media viewing portion of practice on Monday after sitting out Saturday’s scrimmage.
Nose tackle Siaki “Apu” Ika practiced in a gold non-contact jersey. He missed some time at the tail end of last week.
Sticking with the defensive line, nose tackle Tyler Shelvin and defensive end Breiden Fehoko were absent for the second consecutive day.
