Yesterday’s practice report centered around the two noticeable absentees at the quarterback position who’ve since announced they’re leaving the program.
Today’s news focuses on a handful of missing starters who returning to action on Wednesday.
Starting defensive ends Rashard Lawrence and Glen Logan practiced in full during the media viewing portion of practice on Wednesday afternoon. Lawrence hadn’t practiced the past two days while Logan was absent on Tuesday.
Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire also returned to the practice field after not being spotted during the past two days. Safety Eric Monroe was also back at practice for the first time since the middle of last week.
Most of Wednesday’s notable absences from the viewing portion of practice came along the offensive line. Starting left guard Garrett Brumfield did not appear to be out there. Badara Traore, Cameron Wire and Chasen Hines also appeared to be absent.
Cornerback Jontre Kirklin practiced in a yellow non-contact jersey on Wednesday. Fullback Tory Carter continued to wear a non-contact jersey, as he has all week.
There were a couple noteworthy items to pass along about the tight end group. Thaddeus Moss continued to be absent and David Ducre worked with the tight ends for a second consecutive day, at least during individual drills.
