Brian Bridgewater is finally making the transition from the hardwood back to the gridiron.
Bridgewater, a three-year letterman on the LSU Basketball team, will participate in April’s LSU Football Pro Day, he announced on Twitter Wednesday.

The Baton Rouge native played football at Episcopal before focusing on basketball and finishing up his prep career at Scotlandville. He hoped, when he finished basketball last spring, to join LSU’s football team in the fall, but that didn’t happen.
Now, he’ll look to get back in pads in front of NFL scouts on April 4. Bridgewater is 6-foot-5 and played basketball at around 280 pounds and could project as a tight end at the next level.
