LSU’s quarterback recruiting: never a dull moment.
The Tigers got bad news Monday morning, when 2017 dual threat quarterback Lowell Narcisse de-committed from LSU. It’s the second hit on the recruiting front at the position, after fellow 2017 prospect Myles Brennan re-opened his commitment (while still remaining, technically, an LSU commit…don’t ask) days ago.
The news comes on the heels of Narcisse’s official visit to LSU this weekend. Auburn went in-home with Narcisse on Sunday night, per Shea Dixon of 247Sports.com, and Narcisse’s crystal ball is trending heavily toward Gus Malzahn’s crew.
Narcisse, who missed his senior season with a second ACL injury, is ranked the No. 8 dual threat QB in his class and the No. 9 player in Louisiana.
LSU is still in the running for Narcisse, as are Auburn and Memphis. He plans to commit at the Under Armour All-American Game on New Year’s Day.
