LSU hoops Learns ‘Battle 4 Atlantis’ Opponent

BATON ROUGE – The bracket was announced for the sixth Battle 4 Atlantis and the LSU Tigers will open with a Wednesday, Nov. 23, contest against Wichita State at the Imperial Arena at the Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island, Bahamas.

This will mark the second time in three years that LSU has left the continental United States as LSU played in the U.S. Virgin Island in November 2014 in the Paradise Jam.

The tournament runs Nov. 23-25 with each team guaranteed three games. ESPN and AXS-TV will share the broadcast coverage of the tournament.

LSU will open against the Shockers in the opening game of the tournament at 11 a.m. CT on Nov. 23 on ESPN2. The other first-round matchups are Baylor vs. VCU; Michigan State vs. St. John’s; Old Dominion vs. Louisville. LSU would play either Louisville or Old Dominion on the second day of the event.

LSU and Wichita State will meet for the fifth time in program history.
