LSU’s 2018 recruiting class just got the star power it needed to pair with plenty of muscle.
The 19th player to sign with the Tigers is the highest ranked yet in five-star receiver Terrace Marshall.
The Parkway product from North Louisiana is the top ranked player in the state and the No. 1 receiver in the country and the No. 11 player overall in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Ed Orgeron fended off Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M to land Marshall, who will have a chance to start from day one. LSU will lose its top two receivers in DJ Chark and Russell Gage.
Terrace Marshall makes his decision today. @BillyEmbody and @_Andrew_Lopez talked with me yesterday about him and LSU’s other five star targets to finish out the 2018 class. https://t.co/J2zRYyhKDM

Marshall will enroll early for LSU, increasing his chances of cracking the day one rotation at the receiver position. He will join Texas Tech transfer Jonathan Giles to give the Tigers two new options in the passing game.
LSU’s class finishes the early signing period ranked 12th nationally, with a chance to move into the top 10 in February, should they land the likes of five-star corner Patrick Surtain and four-star DB Kelvin Joseph.
