LSU lands four-star safety Todd Harris

By CODY WORSHAM | Tiger Rag Editor

LSU entered Signing Day with two of the best 2017 safeties already on campus in early enrollees Grant Delpit and JaCoby Stevens.

Three’s company, in turns out.

Four-star Plaquemine safety picked LSU over Alabama and a host of other pursuers, giving LSU arguably one of the great safety hauls in modern recruiting history. All three are considered top 10 prospects nationally at their position. With the losses of Jamal Adams and Rickey Jefferson to the NFL and to expired eligibility, respectively, Dave Aranda will have plenty of young options to choose from at the back end of his secondary.

Harris, a 6-foot, 180 pound star from just outside Baton Rouge, is ranked the No. 85 overall prospect in the country, according to 247Sports.com. He held offers from Alabama, TCU, and Arizona State, among others.
