LSU extended an offer to 2021 quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, the prospect announced on Twitter Sunday.
A 6-foot dual threat from Trinity Christian in Cedar Hill, Texas, Sanders threw for 2,360 yards and 34 touchdowns as a freshman last season.

Sanders camped at LSU in June and holds offers from Florida, Florida State, and Oregon. 247Sports’ Mike Roach says Sanders “shows good mobility, and he keeps his eyes downfield to find receivers when breaking containment,” as well as a “strong arm with good touch.”
