Ali Gaye, rated by Geaux247 as the second best junior college end in nation, is now an LSU Tiger.
The 6-6, 270-pound Gaye signed on Wednesday’s early signing period. This past season for Garden City (Kan.) Community College, he recorded 44 tackles, including 7.5 tackles for a loss and a sack in addition to forcing two fumbles.
As a high school prospect from Edmonds (Wash). Woodway, Gaye originally committed to Washington in January 2017 and signed with the Huskies. When he couldn’t get cleared academically, he wound up at Arizona Western as a freshman and then Garden City as sophomore after Arizona Western dropped their football program.
Gaye took an official visit to Baton Rouge this past June, committing and shutting down his recruitment.
