One of LSU’s top offensive linemen is going pro.
Right tackle Toby Weathersby will forgo his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft, the junior announced through a twitter post on Monday night.
Weathersby is the third LSU underclassmen to declare for the NFL Draft, joinging edge rusher Arden Key and cornerback Kevin Toliver. The Tigers are still awaiting decisions from running back Derrius Guice and offensive linemen Will Clapp and Garrett Brumfield.
Plagued by injury as a sophomore, Weathersby started 11 games at right tackle this season. He’s considered one of the top pass protectors in the Southeastern Conference.
