Running back Derrius Guice, who LSU coach Ed Orgeron said is “very questionable” to play against Syracuse Saturday, wasn’t present at the media viewing portion of practice Wednesday.
Safety Ed Paris was also absent.
Defensive end Rashard Lawrence practiced in full, as he has all week, and appears on track to return against the Orangemen after missing the past two games with an ankle injury.
Outside linebacker Corey Thompson and tight end JD Moore both practiced in gold non-contact jerseys, which denote players dealing with injuries.
In non-attendance news, freshman JaCoby Stevens — the five-star safety who moved to wide receiver during training camp — worked with the tight ends for portions of practice and was seen working with the running backs. Stevens caught one pass for 27 yards against UT-Chattanooga.
