Something vaguely resembling actual football weather has finally made it to Baton Rouge, but the LSU football team moved indoors anyway for a fully-padded practice on Turnover Wednesday.
It was there that one of the Tigers’ starting tackled returned to the practice field.
Right tackle Toby Weathersby returned as a full participant Wednesday after being absent from the media viewing portion of practice on Tuesday. Left tackle K.J. Malone remained absent due to a knee injury.
Two defensive starters, cornerback Kevin Toliver and outside linebacker Corey Thompson, practiced in gold non-contact jerseys. Both have been in and out of gold in recent weeks but haven’t missed any games.
