The Reason: The Rebels have beaten the Tide in back-to-back meetings because it runs the kind of high-octane offense that gives Alabama fits. The Tide still wins, but Ole Miss covers.

The Reason: Two of the SEC’s best defensive lines are set to square off on the Plains, but the Aggies appear closer to having their offense figured out at this point. (JM)

The Reason: North Texas lost to a bad SMU team by 13, and Florida seems to have a semblance of offensive firepower.

The Reason: I don’t buy Missouri’s offense after 61 points vs. Eastern Michigan, and Georgia will be fired up after struggling with Nicholls State.

The Reason: This is a points play. Hard to swallow 27.5, especially after giving away 35 in the Florida pick.

The Reason: The Pirates just upset North Carolina State and played Florida close last year. A 4 p.m. kick will have the Gamecocks out of sync, but they’ll win by a touchdown.

The Reason: Two offenses that need plenty of work. Two solid defenses. I like it low-scoring and tight.
