Jamal Adams: A 2016 First-Team All-American at safety, Adams was the lynchpin of an LSU defense that gave up just 16 touchdowns all season, best in the nation. The No. 6 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, Adams recorded 76 tackles and 7.5 for loss in his junior season.

Greg Deichmann: A 2017 first-team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, D1 Baseball.com and Perfect Game/Rawlings, Deichmann hit .308 with 19 home runs and 73 RBI, second-most in the SEC. He also had a .579 slugging percentage.

Sam Burns: The 2017 NCAA Division I Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year, Burns set LSU’s career scoring record with a 70.04 average in 2016-17. Burns, the SEC Golfer of the Year, won four tournaments in 15 starts and was the program’s first-ever Nicklaus Award winner.

Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake: The 2017 LSWA Men’s Track Athlete of the Year, Mitchell-Blake was the runner-up in the NCAA outdoor 200 meters and was part of the SEC champion 4×100 relay team. The native of London was a three-time all-American (100 outdoors; 200, 4×400 indoors) in 2017. After finishing his LSU career, he became the British 200-meter champion.

Derrius Guice: A 2016 First-Team All-American (Scout) and First-Team All-SEC Selection, Guice set two school records in 2017, rushing for 285 yards against Texas A&M and a 96-yard score against Arkansas, both best in school history. He is currently on pace to set the SEC record for yards per carry in a career.
